Phil Wintle from Wintle Heating and Plumbing wanted to do something to make a difference when celebrating the company’s 50th birthday!
So he decided to support Paddington ward as lots of his team have used the wards over the years.
Having a sponsored walk from Pottersbury, where the company was first based, to Moulton park, where it is now, and together with other donations from generous suppliers and employees they raised an incredible £12,000!!
How the donation has helped Paddington Ward The donation bought two Airvo 2’s, which are advanced breathing equipment that help to keep the children’s lungs inflated with a warm flow of air and oxygen in a less invasive way.
They were also able to buy a vacuum mattress which is used to keep little patients still whilst they are having a scan.
