Trudi Stripp raised £805 for Gosset ward by doing a skydive for her 40th Birthday
Trudi Stripp decided she wanted to do something a little different for her birthday this year.
So, she jumped out of an aeroplane!
Trudi’s first daughter, Izzy was born prematurely on 11th December 2014, spending her first 3 weeks of life on the neo-natal special care baby unit at Northampton General Hospital.
“The staff are incredible,” says Trudi, “and work non-stop around the clock caring for very poorly babies…without them Izzy wouldn’t be here”.
Trudi goes on to explain how the staff on Gosset are a huge support to parents too and how raising money for the ward is the best 40th Birthday present she could ask for.
Loads of friends and family very kindly sponsored Trudi for taking on this daring challenge helping her to raise an incredible £805 for Gosset ward!
“I would definitely do it again and certainly recommend it!” Trudi adds.
Trudi recently came in with husband, Richie and their two little girls to present the funds to the staff.
