The committee of Al Jamatul Muslimin of Bangladesh Mosque donate £1,044 to the NEW Buggy appeal.

Our heartfelt thanks to all members of the community who kindly donated money at the Friday collection.

The committee of Al Jamatul Muslimin of Bangladesh Mosque were very happy for the chance to collect donations for a new volunteers’ buggy at NGH.

Abdul Ali, the treasurer for the Mosque, came in with the Mosque Committee to present the incredible amount they raised for the buggy at their Friday collection.

The cheque for £1,044.15 was very gratefully received by Emma Wimpress, Head of Patient Experience, Engagement and Volunteer Services and she expressed her huge thanks to the Mosque Committee of Al Jamatul Muslimin of Bangladesh Masjid.

“The mosque is a charitable organisation,” Abdul Ali said, “I hope you understand how much it meant for us to be able to help your charitable cause, many thanks to the members of the community who have donated the money.

Hopefully we can try to raise more money for the buggy in the future and maybe other mosques in town will make collections immediately.

We wish you all the best for the buggy funds, hopefully you can raise all the money need very soon.” We are hugely grateful for such wonderful support from our local community.

Thank you to everyone who donated so generously in aid of the appeal for this new buggy.

The service run by the volunteers makes such a big difference to people unable to get around the huge hospital site.
