While undergoing radiotherapy treatment for cancer this year, Linda Mason saw the Northamptonshire Health Charity logo in the waiting room.
The charity had funded the makeover of this room at the beginning of the year.
Linda decided she wanted to do something to raise funds for the department as a way of thanking them for the wonderful care she has been receiving from staff.

It was lovely to meet Linda when she came in last week to present the £881.50 donation to Ryan Gowler, Therapeutic Radiographer.
She said, "When I spotted your information in the radiotherapy waiting room, I knew I wanted to donate the funds we raised to specifically support that department, and Ryan was one of the many wonderful Radiographers who supported me during my treatment." We'd like to send a huge thank you to Linda and to Utility People for making this generous donation, which will enable the charity to fund enhancements to healthcare and patient experience for those undergoing radiotherapy treatment at Northampton General Hospital.
If you'd like to make a donation to thank a ward or department for care you or a loved one has received then please do contact the charity team for further details.
