Last year, David Robson, Master of Sartoris Freemasons Lodge, chose Disney Oncology ward to be his charity of the year.
David’s inspiration to support Disney Oncology was his neighbours’ son Dan Herman.
Dan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and has spent a lot of time on Disney ward.
He is now being regularly monitored.
In support, David’s wife Anna, organised a garden party at their home and a ladies festival at Franklin’s garden.
Through auctions, BBQs, Pig roasts rafles etc they raised a total of £3250!
The Masonic Provincial Grand Charity generously added £1750 to make donation up to £5000!!!
How is the donation going to help Disney ward?
David and Anna's donation will be purchasing a new handheld accuvein for the ward.
