Thank you so much to Rosemary Harrison and family for making donations to the A&E Resus team in memory of her husband, Colin.
We are so very grateful to Rosemary Harrison, her son David and all of the family for selecting the Resus Unit within A&E to benefit from donations made in memory of husband and father, Colin Leslie Harrison.
The family wanted to donate this to the unit as a thank you to the team for the care they gave to Colin earlier this year in Resus 3.
Rosemary and David came in to present this generous donation to Matron for Urgent Care, Keara Neeson and Sister Sharon Gray.
They also came in to offer their personal thanks to them and their team for their wonderful care.
Rosemary explained how both herself and Colin have received a lot of outstanding and attentive care and treatment from the hospital over the years, something evident from the gratitude and affection she has for the staff.
She also shared with us that Colin had recently been awarded France’s highest honour by the French government, the Legion d’honneur for service given during D-Day.
Keara and Sharon thanked Rosemary, David and the family for thinking of Resus, advising how their donation will help them purchase items that will enable them to support and treat patients.
