We’ve been chosen as Northamptonshire Chamber Charity of the Year

Words cannot begin to describe how happy we are to have been chosen as the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Charity of the Year 2022/23 - announced on 1 July.

As a member of the Chamber, when we saw the request for applications for the next Charity of the Year we jumped at the chance to get involved.

Our Community Fundraiser, Lorraine Devereux put together this fantastic video as part of the application process to showcase what we do and it certainly helped to capture the hearts of the members when voting began.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_Nvp0-yaLs   This kind of recognition for the work that we do to enhance the care and experience for patients and support staff wellbeing in our local NHS hospitals across the whole county really means a great deal to us and to all of our supporters.

As Northamptonshire Chamber Charity of the Year, we will receive complimentary Silver Chamber Partner membership to enable us to network with some of the county’s most influential companies as well as receiving complimentary tickets to some of the Chamber's networking events.

The Silver Chamber partner membership also means our logo will be featured on the Chamber’s website, company stationery and in various other Chamber publications.

We will also get guaranteed editorial into the Inbusiness magazine, meaning we can raise awareness about the important work we do to support the local NHS to so many more people.

Northamptonshire Chamber Chief executive Louise Wall said: We feel it is important to support county charities and to highlight the contribution they make to our community.

We look forward to working with Northamptonshire Health Charity and helping them to raise their profile and forge new connections with the business community.

Alison McCulloch, our Head of Fundraising said: We are delighted to have been chosen as the Chamber’s Charity of the Year and thank you to all who voted for us.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to increase our contact with the private sector and engage with businesses across the county, who I am sure have all experienced the services of our local NHS Trusts, which work so hard to care for the people of Northamptonshire.

By increasing our networking presence with the help of the Chamber, it gives us the opportunity to work with the Business community and to highlight the big differences our donations make, funding the little extras that put smiles on the faces of the patients and staff at the three NHS Trusts we support across Northamptonshire.

Thank you!

The charity team are very excited to begin working closely with everyone at the Chamber over the next year and making the most of this wonderful two-way partnership.

In fact, fellow Chamber members Wilson Browne Solicitors have recently agreed to sponsor our upcoming Curry & Quiz Night fundraiser for the Twinkling Stars appeal so a huge thank you to all at Wilson Browne for their kind support.
