The Rotary Club of Nene Valley donated £7,200 in aid of the emergency assessment bay appeal last year, which has purchased vital equipment for the new facility.
The wonderful members of The Rotary Club of Nene Valley have supported the hospital via charitable funds for many years now.
The Rotary has donated nearly £25,000 over that time, to purchase a variety of equipment.
We are so grateful to all the members involved for this dedicated and ongoing support.
When we launched the Talbot Butler emergency assessment bay appeal last year, Alastair Rowton’s 2017/2018 year of Presidency was coming to its end.
Alastair decided he would like to donate £7,200 in aid of the EAB, to purchase some specific equipment for the new facility.
This very generous donation purchased an Ophthalmoscope, an Otoscope as well as two Cardiac monitors and two Dynamap vital signs monitors.
Alastair came in recently with Alan Sutton and David Latham to see the new equipment in the assessment bay.
Ward Sister, Emma Cuthbert explained to them how thanks to their support making the facility possible it has significantly enhanced the care available to patients.
