Northampton College Students Inspiring Walk from London Paddington to Disneyland Paris

17-year-old Health and Social Care students, Ellie Underwood and Sinead Campion would like to be child health nurses in the future.

They've already helped to make a massive difference to local Northamptonshire children staying in hospital by raising a fantastic £380 towards the new outside play area between the children's wards at Northampton General Hospital.

A huge thanks to Ellie and Sinead for helping to kickstart the fundraising for this new appeal and everyone who supported them, including their Level 3 Coordinator at Northampton College.

The pair completed their long walk back in February and came in to the charity office recently to present their fabulous donation to Alison Hart and Sue Faulkner from the children's wards.

This new outside area between Disney and Paddington wards is going to significantly enhance the environment and thus, the experience for children when they are being treated at the hospital.

It is often disorienting enough just being in hospital for a child so to be able to continue an important aspect of their normal life so they can make sense of the world around them at such a time will really make such a difference.

Could you take on a virtual fundraising challenge like Ellie and Sinead did, to help us towards our target?
