A huge thank you to longstanding NGH volunteer Celia Penn for the recent £600 donation to Urology.

Celia is a longstanding volunteer at Northampton General Hospital and for the last 16 years she has written a quiz paper every month.
Raising money for the hospital by selling the quiz for £1, formerly from the Friends Volunteer shop and now from the Volunteers Office, Celia chose to donate the money raised from the past 6 months to Urology.
This is as a thank you to the department for the treatment and care she received while a patient with bladder cancer.
Celia now runs the monthly quiz with fellow volunteer Celia Elliott and they both came in to present a cheque to Consultant Tom Swallow and staff in the department.
For the next 6 months they have chosen to raise funds in aid of Paddington Ward, followed by supporting the Talbot Butler Emergency Assessment Bay appeal for the 6 months after that.
