To be able to purchase the very best pieces of equipment for use on this Unit we are significantly dependant on donations of this nature and in this case these funds will be put towards the purchase of a new intensive care transport incubator.
This incubator allows us to continue intensive care commenced on labour ward after delivery whilst transporting a baby safely up to the Special Care Baby Unit for further ongoing treatment.
