We are really grateful to have received a generous donation of £8,800 a few months ago for our Twinkling Stars Appeal, from the Buchanan Programme and Tristan Macro.
In 2018, Orbis, an investment management company, established an employee giving programme – the Buchanan Programme – which empowers their employees to make donations to charitable organizations that make an exceptional impact in the community and are very meaningful to them.
Tristan kindly requested that a donation be made to benefit the Twinkling Stars Appeal or projects at Kettering General Hospital.
The £8,800 has been paid into the fund for the appeal for the new maternity bereavement suite, which will make a huge difference to bereaved parents at such a devastating time for them.
The appeal is raising funds to create a new suite adjacent to the Delivery Suite but separate from it – where families who have suffered the loss of a baby can get quiet, compassionate and supportive care.
