Celebrating Elf Service Week

Get together for a week of festive fundraising from 9th December.

DONATING SO WE CAN BUY GIFTS

Just £20 will help us buy additional stocking fillers for a child in hospital, lighting up their day with joy and Christmas fun!

BUYING OR SELLING RAFFLE TICKETS

Each £10 book of tickets you buy or sell can help buy a gift box, bringing warmth and happiness to patients.

This is an extremely upsetting and emotional time for families. While we work very closely and supportively with parents, we know our facilities let us down. We want to change that.
Lisa Drummond, Kettering General Hospital’s Lead Bereavement Midwife

Why donate?

By raising or donating money, instead of providing physical gifts to inpatients, it ensures that:

  • There is equity across all departments and age groups – no one will go without
  • We follow infection prevention control procedures – keeping staff and patients safe
  • Patients receive gifts that are practical and appropriate – reducing waste and saving money to help us do even more

Donate to the Twinkling Stars appeal

The Twinkling Stars Appeal is aiming to raise over £350,000 to create a dedicated maternity bereavement suite, offering families privacy, compassion, and the space they need during such a difficult time.

Elf service week – Do you have a brilliant idea to help us reach our goal? Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Take part in a running event like a marathon, half marathon, or tough mudder.
  • Organise a skydive or abseil challenge.
  • Host a coffee morning, cake sale, or community event.
  • Whatever your idea, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

The Twinkling Star Peakers

Chloe, Carolyn and their team completed all 3 peaks in an incredible 11 hours and 15 minutes, raising over £3,000 so far for our Twinkling Stars Appeal! Huge Congratulations to you all!

Cake sale to support future bereaved parents

Ashleigh Clay and her family raised over £2,200 for our Twinkling Stars Appeal in memory of her daughter, Robyn Marina Riley Outen-Clay. Their cake sale and tombola, hosted at Woodford Community and Sports Club, helped support bereaved families.

Fundraising for Ava-Mae

Inspired by the loss of her niece Ava-Mae, Louise Larkin, her family, friends, and the local community raised £6,280 for our Twinkling Stars Appeal. Their fundraising included a curry and quiz night, bake sale, bereavement book donations, and a prosecco and blow-dry event.

Please note: In the event we exceed or fall short of our fundraising targets, funds raised will be allocated to projects as close to the original intention as possible.
