The Heart Magazine Advertising Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all advertising booked within The Heart magazine, published by Northamptonshire Health Charity.

Submission of a booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.

  1. Advertising Approval

All advertisements are subject to approval by Northamptonshire Health Charity and the NHS Trusts we support.

We reserve the right to refuse, reject or remove any advertisement that:

  • Conflicts with NHS values
  • May cause reputational damage
  • Contains misleading claims
  • Promotes products or services considered inappropriate for healthcare environments
  • Does not meet legal or regulatory requirements

Acceptance of a booking does not guarantee publication until final approval has been granted.

  1. Booking Confirmation

Advertising space is allocated upon receipt of a completed booking confirmation and invoice acceptance.

Space cannot be guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

  1. Payment Terms

Payment is required before the artwork deadline unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue.

Northamptonshire Health Charity is not VAT registered and VAT will not be added to advertising rates.

  1. Artwork Submission

Advertisers are responsible for supplying artwork that meets the specifications provided in the Artwork Guide.

Northamptonshire Health Charity accepts no responsibility for print quality issues arising from artwork supplied incorrectly.

  1. Design Service

Where a complimentary advert design service is provided, advertisers remain responsible for reviewing and approving final artwork.

Approval of artwork constitutes acceptance of the final design.

  1. Deadlines

Advertisers must supply artwork by the published artwork deadline.

Late submissions may not be included in the scheduled issue.

Where possible, Northamptonshire Health Charity will attempt to accommodate late artwork but inclusion cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Cancellations

Bookings may be cancelled without charge up to four weeks before the artwork deadline.

Cancellations received after this date will incur a charge equal to 50% of the booked advertising rate.

No refunds will be provided after artwork has been approved for print.

  1. Positioning

Specific advertising positions are subject to availability.

While every effort will be made to honour position requests, Northamptonshire Health Charity reserves the right to alter placement where necessary.

  1. Liability

Northamptonshire Health Charity’s liability for any claim relating to an advertisement shall not exceed the amount paid for the advertisement.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from publication delays, production issues or distribution variations.

  1. Distribution

Distribution volumes and readership estimates are provided in good faith and based on historical performance and available data.

No guarantee is made regarding exact readership numbers, engagement levels or response rates.

  1. Amendments

Northamptonshire Health Charity reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
