Five things to do when making your will
- Find a solicitor. Any local solicitor can provide advice and ensure your will is valid.
- Appoint executors. They’ll be responsible for ensuring your instructions are followed.
- Consider how to divide your estate. Your loved ones come first, of course.
- Keep your will safe. Don’t forget to let your executor know how to find your will.
- Think about inheritance tax. Charitable gifts are usually free of inheritance tax.
