Zumbathon raises money for Benham Ward.

Thanks to Michelle Jones for raising more money for Benham Ward while encouraging men to exercise via a Zumbathon.

The latest zumbathon organised by Michelle Jones has raised an excellent £393.15 for Benham Ward.

This is the second zumba dance event Michelle has arranged whereby she encourages men to join in by asking “Are you man enough to zumba?” The aim is to encourage men to exercise more to promote better health.

Members of the zumba class were asked to bring their husbands and other family members along.

There was a raffle and a bake sale, as well as all that dancing to dance off those cake calories!

Guest instructors Roberto Zumba and Rusell Leigh also made an appearance to support this zumbathon – part 2.

It was following her husband’s two night stay on Benham Ward a few years ago that Michelle began supporting the ward.

Michelle came in to present the money raised from this latest event to Christina Mallinder and staff on Benham.

Thank you so much Michelle for your continued support and efforts for Benham; the total raised from both the events held now totals £841.40!!

Thank you to everyone who took part helping to raise the money!!
