Rushden & District Photographic Society donates £795 to Oncology

A special thank you to the Rushden & District Photographic Society for donating the proceeds of their Terry Chapman Memorial competitions.

A huge thank you to the Rushden & District Photographic Society for their latest donation of £795 to Oncology.

This money has been raised via the last two competitions held annually in memory of their former member Terry Chapman.

This year's competition organiser Brenda Marshall came in to present the cheque to staff along with longstanding member Michael Hadley, his wife Mary and Carole Harvey.

Michael joined the society at the same time as Terry did, some 58 years ago!

The photographic society has kindly supported the Oncology department since the passing of Terry.

He was treated at the hospital more than fifteen years ago.

Congratulations to the winner of the “Best Print” this year, Paul Wallis for ‘The Old Lifting Bridge’, which is pictured in the photograph below.

We really appreciate the society’s continued support for cancer patients here at the hospital.

Thank you so much for choosing to donate to us yet again!!
