Thanks to Fresh Direct for supporting the first World Patient Safety Day at Northampton General Hospital.
We’d like to send a huge thank you to Fresh Direct who very kindly donated no less than 1,000 satsumas to us last week.
This was for the World Health Organisation’s first ever World Patient Safety Day.
The QI Team were able to give them out as they visited staff and patients around the hospital, spreading the word and asking everybody to stand up for patient safety.
There was an orange theme so it seemed natural to offer a delicious fresh satsuma to staff and patients.
“They went down so well,” said Clare Atkins, Quality Improvement Project Manager, “Thank you so much to Fresh Direct for donating them and giving us the opportunity to be able to give staff a refreshing break in their day!”
We wouldn’t have been able to do this without the wonderful donation of satsumas from Fresh Direct.
