The Gosset ward knitters, who comprise Kislingbury over 50’s group, Daventry Choral group and some members of Daventry Women’s Institute, have supported Gosset Ward over the last two years with their beautiful knitwear.

At the suggestion of ward Sister Michelle Hardwick they channelled their recent efforts into making these stunning cheerful Christmas outfits for the babies.

Jenna, knitwear co-ordinator on Gosset Ward said, “Thank you very much for the donation of these gorgeous festive coloured cardigans.

We will give the babies the cardigans now so that they can wear them throughout December.

How very thoughtful of the ladies that have knitted these, the mums here will love them”.

We are so grateful to all of the members of these groups out in the wider community who offer their time and superb skills to create such lovely garments for the babies being cared for on Gosset.

These will bring a truly festive feel to those on the ward at what is a very difficult time, especially for the parents.

We'd also like to send a special thank you to Hobbycraft for generously donating the wool for these items.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you ladies for your incredible ongoing support!
