How to donate
We work with ShareGift, the independent UK charity that specialises in accepting donations of shares and converting them into charitable funds.
- Contact ShareGift directly, telling them you’d like your shares to benefit Northamptonshire Health Charity (also known as Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund), Registered Charity Number: 1165702.
- ShareGift will handle the transfer of shares and all the paperwork on your behalf.
- Once the shares have been transferred, ShareGift will send the proceeds to us.

You can give any quantity of shares, large or small, without needing to sell.
ShareGift provides this service free of charge.
In many cases, donating shares may offer UK donors relief from Capital Gains Tax and allow you to claim Income Tax relief on the value of your gift. However, please seek independent financial advice about your own tax circumstances.
Shares that may be hard to sell individually can be pooled with others by ShareGift to create meaningful support for local healthcare.
