Brampton Ward raise funds for their relatives room

[caption id="attachment_3920" align="aligncenter" width="980"] Brampton ward staff have been fundraising for the quiet room appeal[/caption] The Brampton Ward Team at Northampton General Hospital are very enthusiastic to get the old storage room on their ward converted into a quiet room for their patients.

Sam Clarke, Healthcare Assistant on Brampton, got the ball rolling by joining the Northamptonshire Health Charity team for the Northampton Half Marathon back in September last year.

Sam raised a fantastic total of £356.50 in sponsorship while training for and completing this wonderful local race.

Thank you Sam and a huge well done on completing the race in such a fantastic time!!

All staff on the ward have been hard at work.

Collectively, they have held 2 events; a Cake Sale in November followed by a Raffle in December.

These events raised £375 and £120.90 respectively.

Between them they have raised a brilliant £852.40 in total for Brampton and which is going towards the cost of converting this storage room into a space that will benefit their elderly patients in so many different ways.

We are thrilled to be able to confirm that thanks to the hard efforts of staff, individual fundraisers and groups in the local community, we have now reached the target needed to transform this room.
