A huge thank you to Crispin Slee at Bite Street NN who has kindly been supporting the Northamptonshire Health Charity fundraising appeal for a new outside play area at Northampton General Hospital.
Back in April, shortly after the street food pop-up event returned to the County Cricket Ground, the award-winning Patty Freaks designed the very colourful 'Freakin Rainbow Burger'.
£1 from every one of those that sold over that weekend was donated to our appeal, raising a fantastic £400!
Crispin explained how as soon as he saw the burger on the menu he thought it a brilliant opportunity to raise money for the local NHS.
Following on from this, Crispin wanted to do it all again and raise more money to support children in hospital.
He decided that £1 from EVERY burger sold over the Burger Street weekend at Franklin's Gardens would be donated to us for the appeal.
We'd like to send a big thank you to everyone who turned up for helping to raise an incredible £1,258 for the appeal over that weekend.
BiteStreet NN have been so great to work with and incredibly supportive of Northamptonshire Health Charity and their local community.
The mastermind behind Bite Street, Crispin has a lot of passion and enthusiasm when it comes to fundraising, so it was an absolute treat for him to be able to hand over our whopping great big cheque for the total amount of £1,658 that was raised by Bite Street and everyone who went along to grab some delicious food across the two particular weekends!
