Asda community champion, Sam Rix contacted the charity to organise a fun and games afternoon tea party to celebrate the 70th Birthday of the NHS earlier this month.
The Squirrels was chosen as the place for the event and it was a fantastic opportunity for the children at the centre to experience a tea party.
Asda donated plenty of food and drink for the event, things like soft drinks, tea and coffee, nibbles and of course some tasty cake!
They also provided the activities and games for the day.
The children had a great few hours with bubbles, ribbon wands and craft activities, perfectly capturing the needs of all of them really well.
There was also a game of pass the parcel which went down very well with the children and their siblings.
“Thank you so much Asda for helping celebrate 70 years of the NHS and supporting the children to have a lovely day!!” Christie Ireson
