Funding eligibility
To be eligible for funding, applications need to align with the charity’s criteria and fit with the Trust’s processes and usual ways of working, including care pathways and key governance requirements such as IT, IPC, Fire safety, and health & safety.
Please remember, we are looking to fund projects that make a real difference for patients and deliver improvements that last.

Please consider the information needed to complete the application form.
If you’re requesting medical equipment, please include:
- Confirmation of approval from the Medical Equipment Committee
- Where the equipment will be stored
- Training requirements and who will cover the cost (include in your financial breakdown if you’re requesting charity funding)
- Initial consumable costs (include in your financial breakdown)
- How ongoing consumables will be funded
Please let us know:
- How many staff will benefit & How patients will benefit, directly or indirectly
Please confirm:
- You’ve contacted the relevant Trust teams & Trust approval has been obtained before submitting your application

The strongest applications demonstrate a clear need, realistic outcomes, and a meaningful impact, and evidence that the appropriate trust team has endorsed your idea.. We encourage you to be specific and thoughtful with your ideas, this helps us to support the most inspiring and effective projects across the Trust.
